Joris Voorn - We're All Clean
It's hard not to like Joris Voorn's dancefloor-designed energy-packed productions. We're All Clean joins the funky echoes of yesterday with a current-day house sensibility. The brass samples and "one" "two" "three" samples are particularly effective. And from this collage of sounds comes a groove that's infectious to say the least. A reverb-drenched preacher speech ("It hasn't happened today! We must save our children!") makes for an interesting verse of sorts with the looped instrumental samples providing a kind of chorus. Overall, cleverly produced entertainment.
