Alan Fitzpatrick - Reflections (Petar Dundov Remix)

Reflections from Alan Fitzpatrick is one of my favorite tracks of the moment. It was going to be interesting to see what Croatian DJ Pete Dundov would do with it on the remix. He, perhaps sensibly, decided to leave the flawless original where it is and take Reflections in a whole new direction. Dundov's version is very serious in tone, building slowly, as minor-key arpeggios grow into something intense and fascinating. The atmosphere that's created is certainly attention grabbing and very powerful indeed. Additional layers of instrumentation are continually added, rising the tension until you'd think it wouldn't be possible to go any higher. I'll be posting the full length version when it's submitted, but this is a very intense reversioning of the original that's musically complex and superbly constructed.
