The Requesters - Warriors

Check this out! Daring to be different, The Requesters have created a genre defying anthem here. It starts out with an epic melody line, strangely reminscent of 1980's Stadium Rock. And before long it's building to a massive kick-drum driven tech-house floor mover. Effects and instrumentation are used to massive effect, keeping the energy up until we hit a calmer middle section. Here, further retrospective sounds are explored - funky guitar, Eighties drum fills and a nice use of string melody. Overall this is a really innovative track, full of excitement and fresh ideas. I'm looking forward to the remixes...
