Chocolate Puma - Only Love Can Save Me

On a dancefloor this is explosive. Descending minor-key chords and a refreshingly fierce percussive accompaniment are the building blocks of the track. But it's this combined with the soulful vocals that really make Only Love Can Save Me special. I love some of the production touches: cutting out for a beat; the film-trailer style sonic grows; the building intensity with additional layers. Musically it's interesting too. The vocals fit smoothly to the descending minor harmonics, giving an unusual and exciting melodic flavor to the whole track.
