Boys Noize - Jeffer
Jeffer is a bold and attention-grabbing production that takes risks, and for that alone it deserves respect. Dancing the fine line between discord and harmony, Boys Noize fuse digital distortion and speaker-squeaking high-pitch tones with a fairly conventional melodic phrase. The results are arresting: bitter-sweet or sweet and sour come to mind, the perfect combination of acid-influenced tech-production and crisp melodic sequences that verge into Deadmau5 territory. Overall, an engaging production that stands out from the crowd.
