Steve Angello - Tivoli

Don't miss this one. Man of the moment Steve Angello is back with another dancefloor bombshell. It's a back-to-basics production as a simple but infectious minor key motif creates a bed of tension. Variation is applied to the instrumentation to keep things fresh, as an organ sound replaces the signature synth. But the most interesting production touches emerge in Angello's distortions and effects. Sonic grows build to false starts (1:29). Stereo effects are used powerfully during the mid sections (eg 2:18). And there are significant dramatic breathers to keep excitement levels high on the dancerfloor. (2:30). Nicely done!
