Zoo Brazil - Gainer

Zoo Brazil are back with this musically unusual and somber release. Minor chords on the off-beat start things off. There's also an unusual synth effect that sound like a passing truck sounding its horn - it works and adds to the eeriness of the piece. Musically things get interesting when some an unusual, staccato melody line is introduced. Each note brings interesting harmonics to the consistent backing. Spoken vocal samples add further intrigue. Overall, Gainer is a well crafted and atmospheric track.
