Moony - I Don't Know Why ( Jerome Isma-Ae Remix)

This is quite something. The original Moony track is piano driven and upbeat, but Munich based producer Jerome Isma-Ae takes I Don't Know Why to a darker and musically absorbing place. Track starts out with some impeccably produced minor synth chords that multiply in intensity until the Moony vocals strike. Here the chord structure is modified to really accentuate the emotive lyrics. It's sometimes hard to define what makes one remix stand out from so many others. In this case, perhaps it's the beautiful and soothing tone that's created or the subtlety to the composition that's reflective and restrained. Either way, Isma-Ae delivers a musically warming and technically perfect slice of progressive house. In my humble opinion, a five star masterwork.
