Avicci - Ryu
This is great! A tense bed of frantic arpeggios build and intensify until the catchy melodic centerpiece of Ryu is unleashed. This electronic phrase - a simple but memorable melody - is then developed and built upon. The addition of string sustains, extra percussion elements and digital effects all make for a dancefloor shaking anthem that's thoughtfully constructed. Ryu was this week's essential new tune from Pete Tong and will undoubtedly be a large success over the summer.
