Strobe from Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, was one of my favorite tracks of 2009. Its breathtaking, hauntingly beautiful melodies were delicately composed and masterfully put together. Here, London's Michael Woods offers a slickly produced remix alternative. Maintaining the memorable melody at the center of Deadmau5's original mix, Woods changes up the instrumentation creating a crisper, more digitally precise reworking. It's a remix that maintains Deadmau5's musical intentions while bringing a fresh spin to the proceedings. Original review here.
