This was one of the biggest tunes in the world in 2009! John Digweed and Pete Tong can be partly thanked for that. There's a musical intricacy to this Lamur remix that's very special indeed. The track is centered upon an alluring four-bar chord structure that's built upon with elaborate synth counter-melodies and arpeggiated accompaniments. The original uses the same chord structure and is also superb, but it's Saiz that fully realizes Lamur's restrained and haunting beauty. His addition of unusual harmonics and supplementary layers create a mysterious and filmic tone that make his version even better. Breathtaking and truly beautiful music.
