Steve Angello and AN21 - Valodja (Original Mix)

Greek-Swedish DJ, producer, and record label owner Steve Angello continues his exploration of brass themes with Valodja. Minor in key, pulsing brass chords in thirds grow until the distinctive trumpet melody gets things going. I like how Angello, one third of the Swedish Mafia, is almost creating a new genre with his latest series of brass-led house tracks. Flonko of course, explores many of the same ideas. And riding the brass-house wave was Lake & Lys's huge hit, La Tromba. Overall, a suitably first rate production.
