Sneaky Sound System - Pictures On Off (Funkagenda Bootleg) (Cirez D)

Superstar Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz under his pseudonym Cirez D gave us one intense track with Pictures On Off. Here, Funkagenda and Sneaky Sound Systems get there hands on it. There's a relentless energy to this track, as the pulsing bassline is coupled with a hypnotic synth motif. At club volume it's pure dancefloor dynamite. Particularly impressive are the mayhem-inducing builds that bring the percussion back in full force. The looping of "I got lots of pictures in my -" for dramatic effect is my favorite production touch. Superb material. To use Pete Tong's words it "absolutely rocks".
