Freeez - I.O.U. (Paul C's 2009 Rework)

The UK's Paul C is a name I wasn't familiar with until today, but his remix of the eighties track I.O.U. by Freeez is well worth checking out. Keeping much of the musicality of the original, he opts for a high-energy reworking designed for dancefloor furor. The vocals fit perfectly into their digitally reworked bed of pulsing trance synth and driving percussion. The track also features some well designed digital crescendos as vocal snippets are looped for powerful effect - launching into the return of the full percussion and bass. A well crafted reworking.
