Mama's Gun - You Are The Music (Soulshaker Remix)
Five piece band Mama's Gun come from London and are the brainchild of singer-songwriter and producer Andy Platts. Their style is distinctly seventies, taking inspiration from the soothing sounds of the disco era. Here, You Are The Music gets a club-friendly reworking in the form a Soulshaker Remix. The original vocals and musicality remain, now fitted to house tempo percussion and injected with a large dose of soulful energy. The effect is ear-pleasing in an unashamedly upbeat way. Effective material on the right kind of dancefloor.
