Attace Pesante- 'Make It Funky For Me' (Jake Gosling & Sam Young Remix)

An infectious little remix here from Jake Gosling and Sam Young. Musically this is back to basics, reminiscent of the nineties (in a good way!) as a catchy synth melody is coupled with a looped up bassline to create a powerful groove. A piano break strikes half way through (2:23) where the full track is restored layer by layer with some atmospheric synth chords and looped vocals. The treatment of the vocals in general is interesting - using repeated segments, reverb and multi-layering for a crisp digitally produced feel. Nicely done. Anyone recognize this from somewhere? :)
