Calvin Harris - Ready For The Weekend (Dave Spoon Broken Mix)
"I'm gonna find shoes and I'm ready for the weekend!". This is Dave Spoon's reworking of the Calvin Harris club hit. Distorted tech sounds and sub-bass feature heavily in a well-constructed percussive intro. This is followed by the chords that make the chorus, firstly unaccompanied (2:46). Vocal elements from the original then return - including Harris' distinctive melody line and the very familiar chorus. Overall, some solid production choices and an attempt to cover new ground with a very popular track.
