La Roux - Bulletproof (Foamo Remix)

An excellent remix from Foamo here! This reworking of La Roux's Bulletproof is still strongly reminiscent of the original, yet wholly different in tone. For the verse sections, much of the musicality is retained, but the focus is shifted from the vocals and synth melodies to an insanely powerful ascending bassline. You have to witness the impact this has on a dancefloor to truly appreciate the effect of this simple addition! The chorus is softened considerably also, bringing a much less abrasive tone - with effects and little in the way of backup instrumentation. Foamo made some simple yet effective choices in converting this record to a club hit, improving upon the original and refocusing it for greater dancefloor impact.
