I don't think I've ever heard a sub-standard Thin White Duke remix! This time, Friendly Fires' Jump In The Pool is polished up and given a large dose of panache. The original, works so well with it's dreamlike chorus and unusual production. But Thin White Duke finds a way of adapting it for the dancefloors, while enhancing it and taking in a more emotive direction. Reflective and soothing chords coupled with a powerful bed of instrumentation make this remix a aural treat. With massive attention to detail, each layer of music compliments the next, and when combined with the original vocals something truly magical is created. Tune of the week!
